Quality

Being dedicated to quality, SCAN has applied and certified the integrated quality management system (IQMS), which is based on the following international standards:

The goal of the IQMS is to ensure quality of products and services, environmental protection, health and work safety and information management system.
IQMS is applied on all activities in company.

Hazardous areas

Since the majority of projects in the oil and gas industry involve installations in hazardous areas, SCAN has implemented the IQMS system for installation, maintenance and repair of electrical apparatus in explosive atmospheres, based on the following standards:
▪ EN (IEC) 60079 - 14 - installations (Electrical installations design, selection and erection)
▪ EN (IEC) 60079 - 17 - maintenance (Electrical installations inspection and maintenance)
▪ EN (IEC) 60079 - 19 - repair (Equipment repair, overhaul and reclamation)

SCAN is under the technical supervision by Ministry of the Interior - Directorate of Civil Protection, Sector for Explosion Protection, authorized for the following areas:
▪ Performance measuring and testing of electrical installations
▪ Maintenance of electrical equipment and installations
▪ Repair of electrical and instrumentation equipment (devices)

Offshore activities

SCAN is also certified by the Croatian Register of Shipping (CRS) for design, installation, commissioning, service and maintenance of electrical and instrumentation equipment, control and safety systems, including explosion proof equipment. Certification covers ships and fixed offshore platforms.
